I am so thankful for veterans like Captain Groberg. Willing to risk or give their lives if necessary in order to protect those they serve with. It is very difficult to impart the kind of valor and courage displayed by him with mere words.
His focus was and remains on those that were lost that day, and like so many other recipients, he has said it is his duty to wear the Medal of Honor for them, but they are the true owners of it.
